About the project
This is my first time doing a game so it's small and probably a bunch of misspelling. I made all of the sprites, background, music, coding, etc. No AI here!!!
If people really like it, I will continue it.
Game is made in Renpy.

Honestly? Wow
I don't really know how to write reviews, so bear with me.
The game was extremely fun; a Gambit based dating sim? I'm in heaven. While, yes, the game is a bit short(around 20 minutes long), it's still an enjoyable experience.
Some things I liked:
The music - each song fits the characters perfectly and sets the mood of the scene. I spent about a minute just listening to the music before talking to the characters.
The sprites - I love the style, and how it has small changes to fit the characters. My favorite was by far classic!Gambit, the overexaggerated features and the homage to 90's comic shading made me fall in love with him.
The personalities - it's hard to pull off when "all" the characters are the same person, but somehow, it worked out.
The secret character - shhhhh, play to find out
Something that I find both a con and pro(BIG SPOILER): Gambits don't seem to remember already meeting you after you leave their room. It may be an oversight(this is just a demo, at the end of the day), but it kinda fits the narrative of it all being a time loop.
Onto the thing I disliked:
I wanna preface this off by saying; I'm aware there's just one person working on the game. This isn't meant to be overly negative, and please don't take it personally<3
The lack of choices - it seems like regardless of how mean you are to character, their responces don't change. While, sure, it's a very Gambit thing to do, at least a small change in the dialogue going forward would be appreaciated. To give credit where credit is due, there's one, pretty big, choice that impacts the game.
The grammatical errors - some sentences suffer from wrong structure, and there's also a lack of commas/periods in the dialogue.
The surprising lack of Deathbit - I expected a lot more of him:(((
I'd say that's pretty much all. Again, I really enjoyed the game, and for a one-person work it's amazing. Defo recommend playing!
To the creator: keep up the good work, I can't wait for an update to the game!!
(Posting this a second time bc the first time didn't work((I think?????)))
I really liked the game! it seems like a cool concept. good work!
